How to model a flattened inflatable object?

Hello,
I am new to Sketchup. I can only manage to do some simple solid stuff. But now I have to draw a flattened inflatable object, like the one in the photos. It has some bubbles inside, so it looks more like fabric with crease ( I don’t know how to to that either, too advanced for me)

Can anyone give me some ideas, please? Just general steps will help. Thanks!

Using Quads and Clothworks extension

or try modeling in Blender and export as OBJ or DAE files, then import in SketchUp

The complexity depends on what you want to get in the end and how you will use the model.

Thanks for the recommendation. Sorry I didn’t reply till now.
I downloaded Clothwork, and I am trying to get my hands on it. It’s a bit complicated tho. I assume want I need is similar to the process of creating a pillow with wrinkle. But I just don’t know how can I get the object (pillow-like) thinner, the example in the menu is a fat pillow and will not be suitable for my case.

I am still trying with the parameter…thanks again

If you are trying to replicate the image in your first post you could do something like this.

Flat

Oh, great idea! how come I did not think of this. It works on other shapes as well.

Thank you so much!
