How do I make my design see through?

Hi there, I’m new to SketchUp so I’m still figuring a few things out. I need to be able to see inside of my design for a project I am doing but I can’t seem to make all of my solid walls become see through. I do not have SketchUp Pro but should I get it in order to accomplish this task? Help would be fantastic, thanks!

To see through while modelling, turn on View/Face style/X-ray.

To have parts of the model become see-through, apply a material to the faces you want to see though, and set the material opacity to something substantially less than 100%. Try something between 20% and 50% for starters.

Not at computer at the momement, so can’t show screenshots.

Perfect! Thank you so much!
