First you need to create a scene in SketchUp showing the model with the camera set to Parallel Projection. Then in LayOut, select the viewport which you’ve set to that scene in SketchUp and select the scale either in the SketchUp Model inspector panel or by right clicking on the viewport and selecting the scale. If needed, drag the edges of the viewport to show the model as needed.

SketchUp Model panel:

Note: do not double click on the viewport or choose a Standard View from the Standard Views drop down list. If you’ve set up your scenes correctly in the SketchUp model, there’s no need to do either of those things. You want to avoid creating modified scenes in LayOut.
