How can I smooth out my wonky Beveled edges?

I have a complex shape that needs to be beveled on all edges. I am using the rounded corners extension but can’t seem to figure out how to bring all my edges to a clean edge. It states that I have some overlapping spots. I just can figure out on how to get this tweaked enough to work. I am trying to use a 1/2" offset. It is suggesting that I make my offset smaller. I went down to 1/4" and still am having the same mess at the ends (2nd pic). thanks!

It would help if you’d share the SKP file so we can see exactly what you have going on. It may be that you just need to run Intersect Faces and delete some unneeded geometry. Working at a larger scale might also be a good idea depending on the size of your model.
