Salut, @eric-s! Thanks again!

The model is now in the 3D Warehouse - Curved sofa

Curved Sofa - SketchUp and LayOut ready (1.7k entities).

I have remade the model and retopologized it as a low poly model. UV unwrapped and UV mapped with CC0 textures. Full quad for rendering as a high poly model.

Lovely! Thanks @mihai.s. Now time to put in into a design and render

You’re welcome, Eric!

The model, as usual/logically, I created it as low poly primarily for use in SketchUp and LayOut. For renderings, if SUbD is used for subdivision, it already has some edges set with the Crease Tool, but I recommend adding some small details (like stitches), by creating a small bevel using Fredo Corner.

hm. what’s the third toolbar top right ? the selection one?

Salut Pierre,
it’s Select Curve by thomthom. It’s necessary to have solid edges, not soft and smooth, and uninterrupted.

Mihai, cat e de abil Sketch UV? Se descurca la modele mai complicate? Cum crezi, in versiunea SU 25 o sa pot sa adaug custom reflection, displacement texture peste aceasta textura modificata?
Sau ai recomanda totusi sa fac mapping in Blender?

Salut, Max!
In ce sens ‘abil’?

  1. Abil, in comparatie cu Blender.

Hello Sir

Is that a close loop groove or helix groove?

Thx
