Help with a cushion line drawing?

Hello gang, I have been asked to do a few easy line drawings of some upholstery ideas. Similar to a screen shot I have attached. What is the best way to draw cushions similar to the drawing attached? I have never drawn cushions before  Is there a good extension for this? Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated?

Thanks again!

Jay

Based on what you show there, it looks like you don’t need a ton of detail. I would consider drawing boxes with the Rectangle tool and Push/Pull. Then round the corners with FredoCorner or Round Corner.

This was done that way.

Do you mean 2D drawings? If so, then SketchUp’s various Arc tools (with the Scale tool to make them non-circular), along with the Line tool and/or the Rectangle tool could be used to make 2D shapes. SketchUp is overkill and not really optimal for 2D drawings, however. If you actually want a 3D drawing, @DaveR 's suggestions above are good.

Thanks guys! But, I want to be able to bulge the cushions out if that makes sense? I attached 2 screen shots and my attempt useing the arc tool but not sure how to connect my arcs to form a filled in shape? Hope this makes some sense

BULGE CUSHION

Curviloft would be a good option for that. Look at the thread on Sketchucation.

Thanks Dave will do!!
