It could be that it is not flat.
Share the .skp file so we can actually help you identify the issue.
Hii! What do you mean by flat?? What I did was the following: connected multiple circles and deleted borders in order to make it a single shape.

All of the edges may not be on the same elevation on the z axis. Could be a very small deviation somewhere. But as mentioned above, share the file so we can have a look.
Probably hidden geometry.
