Hello, I am using Sketchup Web and my model has disappeared from view. I have looked for previous posts but cannot solve it

Hi, All of a sudden it just disappeared from view and I cannot find it, Its almost as if I am zoomed super far out… tried all of the solutions people have recommended on other forums but nothing has worked. I’ve attached the file as someone with pro might be able to dive deeper into what is causing the issue. Many thanks in advance

You should be using groups and components for your geometry.

What are you modeling this for? Maybe your model railroad?

haha thanks mate… Bit of a joker

will start using components and geometry, only been on the software for a day!

what was the problem?

What do you mean?

You should go through the instructional materials at learn.sketchup.com I assume this is a hobby thing for you since you’re using the free web version.

I just selected the model wwith Ctrl+A and then used Zoom Selection.

I thought your “model railroad” comment was a light dig at my CAD work haha

Yes it is a hobby i will look into it thanks for the resource

interesting, I tried that on mine but it didn’t work. many thanks anyway!

Not at all. I figured as a hobbyist, your model might be for that sort of thing.
