Hello can help me to recover this file

This is does not appear to be a sketchup model

We cannot help you unless you share the .skp file. Making a link to another thread in the forum will not help us help you.

Where were you saving the file while working on it? Did you have a power failure while you were working on it? Are you using a cr acked version of SketchUp?

I couldn´t open it, it´s 760 mb I bet you used a lot of elements from the 3D warehouse, probably one of those models you downloaded was corrupted and it corrupted your file.

The file you shared is the backup created by SketchUp probably the original file is corrupted as well, I checked the file on a hex editor and it still has some data, also compressing it just reduced to 736 mb which is almost 4%. Probably @colin could recover your file with his developer tools.

Is there a reason why you´re still using sketchup 2021? the latest supported version is 2023, if you have a license you can update to version 2025 without any extra cost.

there’s just no reason, i just din’t update yet the new version later i will do. by the way thank you for your help.

I looked at the files, and unlike the common case, where some of the file is zeros, these files seem to be missing a lot of important data. Was the model an even bigger size file at some point?

maybe brother..its happen when my house suddenly blackout

You should have mentioned that in your first post.

So make sure your subscription is up to date and install SketchUp 2025. Then as you are working save the file to the internal drive on your computer and to Trimble Connect so you have a backup that wouldn’t be affected by power failures. If power failures are common in your area you should invest in a UPS for your computer so you at least have a little time to save your work before there’s no power to your computer.
