Thanks for checking the file, DaveR!
Just to clarify, I drew the entire file myself from scratch and didn’t experience any power outages or sudden crashes. However, I did import CAD lines multiple times while working on it because of some import issues.
The last time I saved this file was about 5 days ago, and everything saved smoothly without any errors. It was only when I tried to open it today that this issue happened. Although I am using this version, none of my other SketchUp files have ever had this problem—it only happened to this specific file.
I really appreciate you taking the time to inspect the file for me!
If there is data, are there any ways to recover it?
It depends how much data and which data is missing.
Excuse me, are there any special methods to repair or open it?
Looking at it in a hex editor like that can be useful but you need to look at the whole thing.
It depends on exactly what’s wrong with it.
Share the .skp file so we can see what you are working with.
BTW, that shows you are using SketchUp 2024. Is it a cr acked version? Where have you been saving the file while working on it?
Please update your forum profile. It shows you’re still using SketchUp 2020. Also put the operating system and graphics card in. “12” is just nonsense.
Upload it to DropBox or We Transfer and share the link.
Please answer the questions I asked.
NVIDIA Quadro K600 win10
Put that in your forum profile.
And I presume you are indeed using a cr acked version. Where have you been saving the file while working on it?
The files are stored on a hard drive, and they belong to my friend
I didn’t ask who they belong to. You’re wasting time if you want help.
Why not? How about using Google Drive?
If they are 16 Mb or less drag and drop the files into a reply.
No. I’m not going to share my email address. Put it in a private message if you must. I’ll look at it when I come back. It’s been nearly an hour since I asked you to share the file but I have other things that need doing.
Sorry to bother you. Feel free to get back to your work. I’m bad at uploading files, I’ll find another solution to send the file to you.
You didn’t answer @DaveR s question about cr4cked software. Do you have a license?
What bothers me is that you pinged me specifically and I responded willing to try to help. You’ve made it impossible by not answering the questions I’ve asked, nor have you put correct information in your profile and you haven’t shared the file as I asked.
