I have bought pro and used it in the past, but after upgrading to version 2024, I cannot access tools from pro, specifically the nudge tool. I am using the short cut setup upon install; should I connect online instead and how?
Show us a screenshot of what you are seeing.
There is no native Nudge tool in SketchUp. Maybe you’re thinking of an extension?
OK. So I see you have the Getting Started toolbar display across the top and you have the Large Toolset on the left. Really you don’t need the Getting Started toolbar with the Large Toolset displayed.
In View>Toolbars there are a number individual toolbars you can open and some extensions will have their own toolbars.
Got you. Is there a way to move in specific increments instead? I tried holding Shift and also Ctrl while using move tool, but no visible motion
You have to click to start the move and move the cursor in the desired direction to get the object to move. Select what you want to move, get the Move tool, and start moving the selection in the desired direction. Let go of the mouse and type the move distance then press Enter.
Pay attention to the lower left of the model window where you’ll get infomration about which modifier tools do what.

I wonder where you got the idea that there is a Nudge tool in SketchUp.
I had downloaded an extension in an earlier version that was essentially the Pro Tool kit rather than standard. One of those tools was Nudge. After I upgraded to Pro, the nudge too was still there after disabling the extension. This was roughly a year ago.
You would have to install that extension, whatever it is, in SketchUp 2024, then.
I found it, sketchplus
