It’s great that SketchUp 2027 finally lets us create technical drawings more efficiently using hatch patterns.
When I assign a hatch pattern to a group via Entity Info, it works fine.
But when I select a section fill pattern in Tags, it doesn’t show up in the sections.
In Styles, I’ve selected “Color by Tag” and “Section Fill” and checked and unchecked a few other options.
It doesn’t seem to be working—am I missing something?

Hi @stijns, keep an eye on our website! We’re expecting to introduce our new Skalp version later today, which supports assigning section hatch patterns by tag.
Here’s a preview of our “By Tag” dialog, showing how you can set this up.

I’ll definitely check it out. I had just downloaded your demo right before installing SU26, so I haven’t been able to use it yet.
