mac mini bracket 1.skp (605.5 KB)

When I opened your model I saw a bunch of guides.

Which graphics engine do you have selected in SketchUp>Settings>Graphics?

What graphics card? Is your profile at least correct on that point?

intel 630 1536 mb

And which graphics engine is selected in SketchUp>Settings>Graphics?

Switch to the classic graphics engine, quit, and restart SketchUp. Your graphics card doesn’t support the new graphics engine.

You can see that in the message above the Settings window.

How did you see all those other lines, I couldn’t
Also yesterday the guide lines looked fuzzy

My graphics card supports the new graphics engine. Yours doesn’t.

Still your choice of trying to use the new graphics engine.

All good now , thanks
How the hell did that get switched, I’ve never been to that folder?

I have no idea how it got switched. How long ago did you install SU2024?

Maybe @colin can comment.

When it came out

Well, I can’t answer when or why it was turned on. Did switching to the classic graphics engine make the guides show up?

Yep thanks a lot

Good.

FWIW, when you get ready to update to SketchUp 2025 you should probably consider getting a computer with a graphics card that will support the new graphics engine. That will give you benefits in both SketchUp and LayOut.

that’s what I was thinking , but this one I just hack around with at home
I have anM2 mini in the office
