hi guys everytime i export my floor plan from layout. i get this grey sort of outline. i know that if you want a white background you need to change the floor in sketchup to white etc. so i dont understand what setting i need to change to help this problem. i uploaded what i mean below.

Can you share the LO file? From the PDF it looks like you’ve modeled a large white rectangle surrounding your floor plan but left the background color in the style set to gray and you have the background set to display in the viewport in LayOut.
If you want a white background you can set the background color for the style to white and/or untick the Background box in the Style section of the SketchUp Model panel. There should be no need to draw a large rectangle in the SketchUp model at all.
i have set my background color in sku to white. i did not draw a rectangle. thats why i am confused. that it keeps showing up as it does.
As @DaveR already mentioned, we can only guess without having the file to look at.
Sorry for not sending a file i was on my way. Thanks for the help tho because i did figure it out.
I went to styles in layout and unticked background. Instead of doing it from sketchup.
Thanks for the feedback tho because i didn’t know that you could change it in layout as well.
