Hello SketchUp for Schools Community!
Google recently implemented a change in settings that may require a manual review of your applications that are outside of the direct Google ecosystem. It’s possible that apps can be turned on for everyone but still require a review.
To verify that SketchUp for Schools has been deployed correctly, when signing into your admin console please navigate to the Apps menu and then select “Additional Google services”.
Under the Additional Google Services menu you will then be shown all apps that need additional confirmation for users under 18 years of age.
Under the “Consent status” column you will then be able to verify whether or not additional consent is required. As shown below you can see that it is possible for an app to be “ON for Everyone” but still require additional consent.
To confirm access to a particular app, you will need to hover below the “Actions” column and select the extended menu, then select “Confirm consent”.
Once this has been completed the Consent status should show as being Confirmed, after which access to the app should be restored.
We understand that changes like these can be frustrating and appreciate you reaching out and sharing your experience. If you continue to see access issues please let us know and we’ll do our best to assist you in addressing them.
