Under 18 not allowed

Our students are receiving an error message when trying to use the Sketchup for Schools app that they have to be over 18 to access. This seems odd for a Schools version as most students in schools are not over 18. We also contacted Google Support, but they seemed unable to provide any reasoning or clear answer and asked that we contact you. We are using the web version through the Chrome browser.

Any ideas why suddenly the Sketchup for Schools would deny access to all of our HS students who are not over 18?

After Google has implemented their new age based restriction policy, we are getting some students who are getting blocked by the age-based restrictions. Most of the other students can access it ok. I tested a problematic student by moving them to an OU that set to “All users are 18 or older” and it works. Move it back to the school OU and I get the block. Thank you for any help.

Hello, We are also seeing this in our school district. I have one student who all the sudden cannot sign in or use his Sketchup account because he’s not 18.

Any updates would be helpful
