I cannot access the geo locate function, says I have to sign in or rather log on, I have done so, but it still says log on to access?
What kind of license do you have for SketchUp? The Geo-Location feature requires a current Pro or Studio subscription. If you have a different type of license you won’t have access to it.
I have the pro licence. I loaded 2024, found the way to accessing geo location. Somehow, it took a geo location from the cad drawing I imported, but the location needed adjusting to correct it. I have tried many options to correct the geo location information including entering the desired lat and long figures but it will not accept these. Also tried relocating the box over the area, but I cannot relocate the pin to the location.
You probably selected Preserve drawing origin in the import preferences. Try deleting it and importing again without that setting.
Note there is an Options… button next to the import button on the import dialog
