Generating 2D images

Hi,

I have couple models to present. Per each model I need to export 32 images of block from different angle. I need to rotate it by 45 degrees in each direction. Like export 2D image, then rotate 45 degrees left, export image, rotate 45 front and so on. It is not so easy to do manually so I was wondering if it is possible to do it through some script? And where to look for some documentation?
