Fredo6 Animator with SketchUp 2025

I use Sketchup 2025 and bought Fredo6 animate to make a movie. After a lot of trying to get eea running I now discover that Fredo6 works up to version 23/24. Making a video is possible, but unfortunately it is not possible to exprort. Can someone give a solution to export a video anyway?

Greetings, Edwin

You are mistaken. Fredo Animator works in all versions from v2017 to v2026.

You do need the latest version of his extensions from 2025 and also the latest LibFredo6 and the SketchUcation Tools [for the licensing].

Why aren’t you posting this issue in the extensions own thread over at SketchUcation.com or https://community.sketchucation.com/topic/152545/plugin-animator-v4.5a-22-jul-25/536? You’d be likely to get a much quicker and useful response…

I’ve had trouble navigating sketchucation, but that’s probably a me problem.

What ‘trouble’ ? https://community.sketchucation.com/ or the PluginStore https://sketchucation.com/pluginstore both work fine for me… You might need to login ?

for me,

sometimes, when you want to read more infos about a plugin and you click on the blue button, you get a dedicated page with infos, screenshots, all the things.
like here

sometimes, you’ll get a 11 pages thread started 10y ago and you’ll have to go through it yet won’t necessary find the basic answers you were looking for.
like here

a 64pages thread from 2009.

The way ‘more info’ click should work is if there’s a dedicated page-set [by the author] you arrive there - the first page gives an overview and compatibilities etc, other pages give your more info it’s feedback button takes you to the first page in the extension’s forum thread, in which the author should give an overview etc. If there is no dedicated page-set by the author then you arrive at the first page in the extension’s forum thread. Occasionally the button links you off to the author’s own website which will have their own pages… The authors are free to create their own dedicated extension-pages, they are encouraged but it’s not compulsory.

It’s not that I can’t, it’s that I haven’t learned how. It’s an unfamiliar UI that I’ve had trouble learning.
