Fredo Animator - problems with adding new movements to current film

Hi, I’m still using SU2017 and no ability to upgrade. Had an automatic update on Mac to Sequoia but not sure the problem wasn’t already there prior to this?

I can’t seem to add any additional movements to the current film, i.e. trying to reverse the garage doors to closed, either both or individually, as the movements already saved seem to move off their original axis or separate from the original group selected.

Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What does not work exactly?

Can you open the Ruby console while working in Animator to get potential errors.

Hi, thanks for responding.

I can’t seem to make an additional movement and when for example moving the left hand door to 1785mm on the Y axis, it shows the X axis and only allows you to press the exit to cancel, although it saves it on the timeline in the incorrect position within the animation.

If I have made amendments I am then forced to quit the document without saving as the errors remain in place when saving and opening the document again.

I can open Ruby from inside the SU window but it appears blank as I have no knowledge of this application so may be my error?

Many thanks.
