Am using Follow Me to form a shape, but I get an overlap when doing so. Hopefully the attached images explain it better. Any suggestions?
It’s hard to tell how you set up the profile and path just from images. Can you share the skp file (preferably before the followme)?

Here it is. Any questions, please let me know. Thanks!
Follow me creates faces perpendicular to the first and last segments of your path, so it is going past 90deg and giving you the overlap.
If you rotate the circle by half a segment the first and last segments are at a right angle to what you want. Also be aware that the size of the circle/path is irrelevant, it’s all about alignment to the profile. So a single circle can be used to create all your different sections.
So here I have drawn a circle with 400 segments on axis, (meaning I pulled the circle out following an axis not just randomly) then rotated it by half a segment, placing the midpoint of a segment on axis.
First gif shows the half segment rotate with a 24 seg circle as it is easier to see that on a 400 segment one. Second shows using the 400 segment circle.
Thank you for the response! I’m messing with it.
On this project, the top half of some of the circles are a smaller diameter. There’s a “dip” in the center of the top of the hull. I have to assume the bottom is flat.
I’m not able to rotate the discs. Have added more sides to circles, rotating them slightly, and seeing if that might work.
@Box … this is exceedingly clever. I have always done exactly the opposite … i.e. set up the “path” in the “model” … and then set the “profile” in as appropriate.
Your scheme of setting up multiple “profiles” in the “model” … with one “path” external to the model … this is very clever. Thank you for posting the video!
