Fixing Materials in components while resizing geometry

I’m running into an issue when creating DC with specific materials on different faces. The scale of the material rescales, and I want it to stay fixed. Am I missing something, or is there an overly complicated solution?

You need to add group or component that has a formula to the component. Tig introduced a small square (that could be a swatch if required) where its size was fixed, thus after a scale it returns to size “dragging” the material to reset.

Ah, sounds like it was the later; an overly-complicated solution to a simple option that could be assigned to the material selection process.
