Fencing Diamond Mesh texture needed back!

Hi Trimble, the black fence material called “Fencing Diamond Mesh” is one of my most used materials of all time… why has it been removed from the original palette of the materials in SU2016? Can you put it back please? Thank you

Do you still have an older version of SketchUp installed? If so, you can easily get that material from there and add it to the materials for SU2016. I don’t need that one but I just added it to show it can be done.

Fencing_Diamond_Mesh.skm (17.4 KB)

If you are running Windows, it goes in this folder:

C:\Program Files\SketchUp\SketchUp 2016\Materials\Landscaping, Fencing and Vegetation

And here is the path to the SU15 material if you want to copy it with a file explorer:
c:\Program Files\SketchUp\SketchUp 2015\Materials\Fencing\Fencing_Diamond_Mesh.skm

Happy New Year folks.

In many Windows systems, the SU2016 path to the materials folder will be slightly different:

C:\Program Files (x86)\SketchUp\SketchUp 2016\Materials\Landscaping, Fencing and Vegetation

Specifically, use jvl’s path for 32-bit SU and the path I gave for 64-bit. Thanks, jvl.
