I see this happening again in Chrome. Every other website including other sketchup.com features show the favicon in the browser tabs.

New error appears today, and is blocked by Avast Security.
In the Chrome Inspector we see the following error …
Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://forums.sketchup.com/’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure favicon ‘http://discourse-cdn.global.ssl.fastly.net/sketchup/uploads/default/original/2X/8/87ba3be1fc4b8e12dfe8e63c467f702a6c59c7f0.png’. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.
AND … the favicon for the Ruby API doc pages is now missing … (It seems every 2 years we go through this.)
Okay I’ve updated the link and it appears to be working on my end.

Now if only someone can fix the one for the Ruby doc pages.

Finally! Thanks so much. It bugs me to no end when one of my Bookmarks is missing a favicon; good thing I like the forum enough I didn’t delete the bookmark on those grounds alone

Yes that URL is fine.
I guess we need Thomas to fix the YARD template for the Ruby API documentation pages.
I logged an issue for him …
