"Failed to save file"

I save the files anyway. I get this every time it tries to automatically save my work

Where is it you are trying to save the file to?

I’m not, this I believe is the automated feature. I get a window that says “Failed to save file” that pops up.
I then save the file I’m working on to the client folder it was located in… I am reexplaining the same thing.

I did read your post. I asked where the file is supposed to be saved to. Good luck.

• local folder or shared network storage?
• appropriate user rights (Read/Write/Delete) in this path?
• why not also using the recent SketchUp version 2016 which is the only revision released for your recent macOS v10.12 'Sierra’?
