Fabber SU to CNC (and SVG) exporter updated for 2025!

Hey folks! After a long hiatus the SketchUp>SVG>Vectric exporter is BACK!

For those of you that use a CNC with SketchUp this is a real boon for you:

Basically what it does is allow you to export all of your 3D parts out to your CNC. It can create SVG files or send them right to Vectric and it will automatically make you G code toolpaths.

Our exporter even preserves arcs so you get super smooth cuts from your G code.

I have used this to make all kinds of cool projects over the years, including the famous SketchUp Arcade:

Several years ago we took this plugin offline in favor of a cloud app. However recently we’ve decided to bring this one back. It’s better than ever now.

You can learn a little more here at www.getfabber.com.

I’m just about to roll out some beta invites for those that want to test. If anyone here is interested post up and let me know.

Hi Eric,
Great news. Count me in for beta testing please.
Cheers

Awesome, I’ll get you some info over shortly!

I remember playing it at one of the last Basecamps, great fun!

Last I heard it lives at HQ now

Hi Eric,

I’d like to install Fabber, but it doesn’t appear in the Extension Warehouse inside SketchUp 2024 or 2025 on Mac(searching “Fabber” / “Fabber CNC Exporter” shows no result). Your website also isn’t letting me register or download at the moment.

  • Environment: SketchUp Pro 2024 & 2025, macOS

  • Location: UK — London

Could you confirm if Fabber is still available/maintained on Mac and share a direct RBZ installer or an alternative download link? If there’s a beta, please add me — I’m happy to test.

Thanks,
Arek
