Hii, I’ve got the issue that I can not open extension manager. I cant find my podium toolbar and when I select it in the toolabars panel nothing shows up. I wanted to check in my extension manager if there might me an issue with the download, but i can not open it. I’ve checked if the pannel did open on my second screen or if the pannel was hidden behind another one but no luck. I can only find issues with the extension pannel being blank on this forum but on my computer nothing shows up, not even the blank pannel. Did anyone else have or had this issue or does anyone know how to solve it?
I work in sketchup pro 2023 and it runs on windows 11. (everything else except the podium toolbar seems to work)
It still can be a case that the Extension Manager window is out of screen.
Follow this guide exactly after trying opening Extension Manager (Do not click anywhere else)
- Hold down the ALT key. Hit SPACEBAR.
- Release ALT key
- Hit M (Move).
- Hit one of ← ↑ → ↓ arrow keys
- Move your mouse around (without pressing any mouse key) until you see the missing window.
- Press left mouse button on the desired place
( Note I assume you have English windows otherwise you may need to replace “M” with a localized letter, e.g. “L” in French)

yess, thankyou problem solved! I also found the podium toolbar back this way
Hi I had a similar issue but this didn’t work for me. I clicked on the Extension Manager button and absolutely nothing happened. Can anyone tell me what may be wrong?
Have you disconnected an external monitor?
Nope. I was only working with a single monitor at the time. I opened Sketchup on a different computer and was able to get the Extension Manager to load. I’m wondering if maybe it’s some kind of security thing on my work computer.
Might be. Maybe try repairing the installation of SketchUp by right clicking on the installer exe, selecting Run as administrator, then Repair.
If that doesn’t help you could try deleting PrivatePreferences.json from User/AppData/Local/SketchUp/SketchUp 2023/SketchUp. AppData is a normally hidden folder but you can make Hidden Folders visible in File Explorer’s View settings. After deleting the .json file restart SketchUp and try opening the Extension Manager.
