Extension License Missing

Greetings,

After installing SU 2025 and migrating the extension, I notice that two extensions de Jacob Samulel are inactive due to lack of licence.

They are somewhat active in the previous version of SU 2024.

I noticed that logging in via Sketchup to my old account (other than the Sketchuo/subscription company licence) both extensions are active without any information about the lack of licence.

The problem persists when I have to change my login account to start Sketchup.

Using a different account to the one I bought the extensions from is necessary to run the program.

However, this prevents me from using the extensions purchased with the other account.

Is it possible to transfer the licence from one account to another?

Although this is probably not a solution due to having a corporate SU licence while the extensions were purchased from my and long time private account.

I would be very grateful for an explanation and possible solution to this problem.

Have you reached out to the extension developer?

There is something that can go wrong on our side, that I am able to fix. To do that I need to know the email address you use. It isn’t the email you use in the forum.

You can click on my avatar, and choose the Message option, to let me know the right email address.

I have not contacted the developer. Usually it is useless, as he has no control of the licensing management.

I have just sent a PM as suggested.

Hi, I got the same problem, can you help me fix it to ? Everytime I download a plugging from extension warehouse it tells me that they cannot find a license.

If the extensions are bought through Extension Warehouse, make sure you are signed into SketchUp with the same account as when you bought it. If you have changed SketchUp account since then, you can contact SketchUp support for transferring the license to your new account.

If you didn’t buy the extension from Extension Warehouse, the exact steps vary between stores. You may just need to enter the license key again. You may need a new license. It’s up to the store you bought it from. For more help, contact the store.
