Export a group from one sketchup file to another

What is the best way to export/import a group from one sketchup file to another sketchup file?
I don’t’ see an option to select a group or part of sketchup model as a .SKP format file for exporting.
Thank you

Copy and paste is the most direct.
Or create a component library and bring them in from the component browser.

Groups have no Save As… options, but components do. So you can right-click a group and select Make Component. Once the object is a component, a Save As… option will appear in the context menu, allowing you to save it as a .skp file, or, as Box mentioned, you can add the component to a new or existing collection for access from within other models via the Component browser.

SketchUp for iPad and SketchUp for WEB can SaveAs… group contents to export single SKP file.
When reload group contents to main file, all of same groups (copied, not edited) replaced like as component.
Is there any plan to add this feature to desktop version?
I strongly think this feature should be implemented to unify the feature of iPad, WEB, and desktop.

If an exported component contains another component, when you reload it, the component definition name will be automatically incremented because the component name in the main file is the same as the other component name in the reloaded component.
However, if you don’t want to increment it because it’s the same component, is it possible to add a dialog asking whether or not to overwrite it?
I strongly need this feature for my workflow.
