These are the errors crop up while starting SketchUp pro. Can anyone help in fixing these issues.

The error messages are in English. You may be able to understand some parts of it, for example

Most extensions allow to apply a license after starting SketchUp. If that is not the case with Skalp, maybe it has a separate installer executable?

  • Try uninstalling and reinstalling Skalp.
  • Since Skalp is a commercial extensio and you are a customer, you certainly get professional support be the Skalp authors. Try to contact them.

Skalp claims that version 2.0 is free (thank you !) and will work for SU Make and Pro.

However every attempt at loading the extension fails with the exact error above.

The script uses RubyLoader (minGW) to load a Base64-encoded text. Either every available ruby loader is expired, or the translator script is expired. I did try to replace the current with a file from version 4 of skalp. Also failed. The extension should be updated if possible.

So, people wish to monetize on their work, fair - that’s their choice. But then the extension should be removed from the extension store in my view. There are 3 different scalp versions available listed as “Free”. None work.

Meanwhile this “security” argument …hmm… just be honest. Loads of extensions that list “minimum 2019 version” work perfectly fine on 2017 Make. I don’t know if the “security” is only in the translation module, basically reading ini files. If it is, even more sad.

Again, no argument against switching to paid-only. But at least remove things that no longer works.
