Error Message: You are not licensed

Greetings

I started a drawing today in Sketchup pro. When I went back to open it again this message appeared:

You are not licensed. You can continue to use SketchUp, but you will not be allowed to start a new file or open an existing file.

Now I can’t open any sketchup or layout files.

My license is annual and renews in May 2026.

I submitted a help ticket hours ago but I am trying to get some drawings done.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Go to the Help menu and sign out. Then sign back in. You have to sign in every 28 days.

Please update your forum profile. It says you are using SketchUp 2020 with Mac Catalina.

I apologize for my ignorance but i cannot figure out how to do either of those things.

ok. Closing sketchup and starting it again worked.

OK. Now to update your forum profile, click on the W in the violet circle at the top right of the forum page, then the person icon, then Preferences, and Profile. Put the correct information in, scroll to the bottom of the page and save the changes.
