I’ve recently updated my Eneroth Relative Camera extension.
This extension lets you memorize the current camera relative a group or component (relative to its axes to be precise) and then restore it, but in relation to a new group/component. This is useful for updating views when an object is moved, or to create matching corresponding views of different objects.
New for version 1.1.0 is that parallel projection is better supported.
In this example I used the extension to create corresponding orientation diagrams for a school project. Of course a static camera and layers for visibility could be used in this example, but with the extension available I think this workflow is quite a bit smoother, especially if new diagrams are added at a later point.
