Eneroth Face Creator having trouble creating faces in complex floor plans

I have a floor plan in cad which has a lot of curved and complex shapes. when i try to use the face creator only the circles and some rectangles are faced up. most are not faced up. i cleaned up the file and made sure lines were connected and used overkill command but still no luck. any help? the file model is attaced. tqvm

TEST.skp (243.0 KB)
FOR SKECTHUP.dwg (174.7 KB)

The title is not entirely adequate in my opinion. If the plugin does not generate the faces it will be because it does not find closed polygons in which to create a face.

At least two problems going on in your file. Eneroth Face Creator will form faces on any coplanar complete loop of edges present in your file. The first problem is that much of the geometry is not “flat”, you have rectangles with corners at 4 distinct Z heights which by definition cannot form a plane. A solution for this is to run Eneroths Flatten to plane first, which will resolve any Z height discrepancies, assuming you don’t need the Z information in the mode.

The second problem is sloppy modeling of the original file which has left many of the “loops” of geometry that might otherwise be coplanar open by tiny amounts, preventing a face from forming. Here you can see I find one such gap in the corner of a wall, which once repaired forms a face immediately. The solution for these is to simply hunt for them and close them up, You can have some luck bisecting areas with additional lines to see which side closes to help narrow down the search for gaps, erase added edges after closing.

Thanks man rlly helped. but on the closed loops part in the original cad drawing non of these gaps exist as ive checked and cleaned up the file. the gaps only appear when i import the cad file to sketchup. any idea why this is happening?

Yes, the gaps exists in CAD
