Shame the drape tool doesn’t always work. It can miss a lot of lines that the user then has to manually draw.

For sure. That’s why in our latest learning track I reviewed the process for ‘Intersecting with model’ which works better than drape when dealing with complex linework. Often this is due to a small scale and working at a bigger scale will help.

Definitely check out Artisan Organic Toolset for making organic shapes in both 2D and 3D. It’s a must for landscape design, terrain, etc.
