Dynamic components lose attribute windows when drop it from my Library. In Fact it is a copy of my components if I double click on it, I refind my first and I can modify the variables.
How can I do it to have directly my attribute windows?
Youâve âdouble wrappedâ the component. You can see that in Outliner. Evidently you created the dynamic componentand then saved the model file you made it in and are using that for your import. With the correct level of the component selected you can see the Component Options.
You need to explode the top level , âFenetre 1 Vantail Dynamique#1â.
Instead of making the component and saving the file you made the component in, either right click on the component and use Save as ⌠or drag the component thumbnail from In Model to your local collection of components in the Components panel. That will eliminate the unneeded extra component level.
That will also eliminate the scale figure from your component and reduce its file size.
Keep in mind that components are just SketchUp files. The way you saved the window resulted in a SketchUp file inside a SketchUp file. In this case you donât want that. Save your dynamic components correctly and you wonât have the unneeded level of nesting.
