I’m having some trouble. I’m not sure why this is happening but I’ve set all the dimensions of the components manually and even in their parent components but for some reason my Dynamic Door is still not adding up correctly so when I go to position items inside this particular component it’s difficult to get them to line up correctly.
Here’s a screenshot of what I mean. I’m not entirely sure how it’s possible that all the components are set to 7.5" and it still be 7.519?
Let me know what you think… I’m gonna be pretty bummed if I have to manually rebuild all this.
I went in and checked everything. Turns out I had one outlying dimension - one of the door handles was not built to the right depth. So it was throwing things off. I guess lesson learned that Dynamic Components are extremely picky and even if you force the dim in the parent, it won’t necessarily trickle down to the dims of the objects within - especially if they have dimensions placed on themselves. Guess I just need to take this as a sign that I need to build everything by hand from now on lol
