do you have any overclocking software installed / running ?
all i use it for is microsoft office. Excel, Word, Outlook. I do have 2 external screens attached through a dock, but i have tried to run the program with those not plugged in and it did the same thing.

On Wed 1/20/2021 3:58:19 PM your computer crashed or a problem was reported
crash dump file: C:\windows\minidump\012021-12531-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: nvlddmkm.sys (0xFFFFF80751B02380)
Bugcheck code: 0x116 (0xFFFFA083C7E70010, 0xFFFFF80751B02380, 0xFFFFFFFFC000009A, 0x4)
Error: VIDEO_TDR_ERROR
file path: C:\windows\system32\drivers\nvlddmkm.sys

company: [NVIDIA Corporation]
description: NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 461.09
Bug check description: This indicates that an attempt to reset the display driver and recover from a timeout failed.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: nvlddmkm.sys (NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 461.09 , NVIDIA Corporation).
Google query: [nvlddmkm.sys NVIDIA Corporation VIDEO_TDR_ERROR](nvlddmkm.sys NVIDIA - Google Search Corporation+VIDEO_TDR_ERROR)
i doubt it would be the matter.
In order :
check your computer hardware temperatures
you should try running HP’s system diagnostics (full test) that you can access by pressing F2 repeatedly upon startup and see if it finds/fixes errors.
Other thing to do would be to update all intel drivers. They have a very efficient automatic tool on their website https://downloadcenter.intel.com/
type sfc /scannow in a command prompt ran as administrator as I told you in a previous post.
If still no luck, backup your drives and make a clean install of windows.
It seems you’re not the only one having a " DPC watchdog Violation" blue screen error with an HP spectre
Edit : your last minidump report seems to be GPU related.
No, that doesn’t seem right. Something going on for sure. Have you tried any other 3D programs like Blender or Form-Z Free? Not saying to use them but just trying to see if you can install and run them with no issues.
Your display driver is certainly the latest. If you want to try something different there, you could go to the HP site and get the (probably older) version they have posted as their “certified” driver. Installing that would probably require first removal of the one you have now.
Good testing step to try it without the dock. They too are known to sometimes cause problems.
I agree. It reminds me that back in the old days I had one of the first laptops that could switch between chipset and graphic card (with an actual physical switch) and if I tried to update the drivers with anything else than what was published by the manufacturer, everything would go wrong, and switching back to the chipset was the only solution.
If after all this you still get the blue screen. The only way out would be to force using your Intel UHD graphics 620 for SketchUp
