Downloaded components do not appear fully in model

Hello,

I’m using Sketchup Pro version 24 for 64 bits.
I’m downloading models from 3D Warehouse, into my model. However, the components do not appear as they should. For instance, I’m trying to download this plant - Agapanthus Africanus Agapanto Crinum

But it shows without leaves.

I have clicked unhide to all, and nothing happens. I’ve downloaded them to a new model, but it happened again. If I edit the Style and click to show hidden Geometry, I can see the outline of what should be there.
Even with Outliner, it says it’s showing, but it’s not:

Has anyone experienced this before? I had never encountered this problem, I downloaded these components other times, and it all worked fine.

Can incompatibility exist between these older components and the new version of Sketchup.

Share your .skp file so we can see your settings.

It looks like you have Hidden Geometry turned on but possibly Wireframe as the Face Style. Can’t tell for certain what the problem is.

Unlikely.

I just download the component you listed and inserted it into SketchUp 2024. This is what I see.

Probably the fault is with your display driver, as other people have reported the same problem with AMD graphics cards and textures that have transparency. Installing a newer version or perhaps downgrading to an older version might help. Or switching to the “classic” graphics engine and restarting SketchUp (Window>Preferences>Graphics). I have only seen some mentions about this on the forum so I don’t know if it is an universal problem or only connected to specific AMD graphics cards and driver versions.

Thank you, it was the driver! I’ve downloaded the latest version and it’s all good now
