I am the Google Workspace Administrator for an educational institution in Argentina. We are trying to use SketchUp for Schools, but our users are receiving the “Are you in the right place?” error message.
I have already performed the following steps in the Google Admin Console:
Installed the app for the entire domain.
Granted all necessary data access permissions.
Set the app as “Trusted” in the API Controls section.
Confirmed the age-appropriate settings for our students.
Our domain is: sanandres.esc.edu.ar
Could you please verify if our domain is on the whitelist or if there is any database restriction on your end?
I am writing to follow up on this request as it has been 3 days and our students still cannot access the application. They are consistently seeing the “Are you in the right place?” error message.
I have re-verified our Google Admin settings and can confirm:
The app is Domain Installed for all users.
All data access permissions have been granted.
We are using a verified Google for Education workspace.
As our domain is .esc.edu.ar, we believe it needs to be manually whitelisted in your database to be recognized as a valid educational institution.
Could a moderator please assist us in whitelisting this domain? Our classes are currently on hold due to this access issue.
Hi @AndresRobles thanks for the post and sorry for the wait. I am happy to assist in getting you added to our domain database. I typically need a few things to do this, but it seems you already answered most of my questions so I only need one more thing from you. Specifically, I need to know if you are k-12 or are higher education. Can you verify that for me? Once I know that I can start the process of adding you.
Thanks! I’ll get you added right now. Try loading up the app again and see if the error still coming up. If it is still showing the error let me know right away and we can start troubleshooting.
