Does anyone know how to place your model onto a highstreet scene?

Hi!

I am a little stuck. I am working on converting a supermarket into a block of flats on a main high street thats on a sloping hill. Is there a way of using a google image photo and placing my model on to this? Or is there a simpler way of putting my new model onto the highstreet?
Thanks!

Google’s terms of service don’t allow using their street view images as you propose. You could use your own photos of the area to set up Match Photo scenes in your SketchUp file.

You could use the Watermark feature within Styles for this purpose. Check out this video for the process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxKR3XDmJW8&t=1s

As Dave R noted, just make sure you understand the license terms of whatever image source you’re using and what you’re using it for. If it’s for your own study you’ll be fine but if you’re printing or distributing the final image result there may be a conflict there. Good luck.

Thanks so much for your help!

Thank you!
