I have similar problem trying to accept the two-year discounted subscription offer made in multiple emails to me. When I tested the Subscribe link about two weeks ago, the page loaded with a promo code already filled in. But this week, clicking the Subscribe button in the email takes me to order page without promo code, and much higher price. I’ve tried multiple times from multiple browsers on two different devices. Can you guys just email us the promo code? Running out of time.
Same with me. The discount promo code that finally appeared yesterday seems to have disappeared today or, for some reason, I am being unable to find it now. I took a screen shot of it just in case, and when I decided to use it it would not work…
Still no email for me, I just found the code one of the times that I was checking my license manager page on the web.
Colin
I have made several calls and sent emails regarding this issue. Can someone please get back to me with the code needed? I hav been trying to get this taken care of, but am not having any luck getting help.
I’m surprised that the code wasn’t embedded into the link.
It isn’t a code, it works from your email address. You have several of those, and the important one is your name at me dot com. That’s the one the license is assigned to. Be signed in with that email address, and not your gmail address.
That email address is not yet a Trimble ID, so when you attempt to sign in with it, follow the instructions to enter your details and make it become a Trimble ID.
But, you have support until April 12th, so please wait until then to migrate.
I did get signed in to Trimble using my .me address, but now It is just spinning. I have put in a call earlier today, but no one has returned my call to help? Thanks, Ron
Hi, I have also received emails from Trimble about migrating to subscription service. However, when I log in to subscribe from the email I do not get the offered discount, $240 for 2 years. If I log in from another email about renovating the license I do not get a discount either after typing my serial number. I have been a Classic License holder since SketchUp 8.
I have the same problem. I am logging in with the same email I am subscribed (.mac.com address). I don’t see the discount, and my M&S license was renewed on July 4th 2020. I login in my account but I don’t see it in “my products” tab. I really don’t know what to do. Nobody is answering the license customer service phone and I don’t want to lose the promotion.
I am able to get a 1 year subscription for $120, but not the 2 years for $240 for which I’ve received two or three emails. When I log on to my account it shows me as a Sketchup Free user!
I’m not sure which ‘it’ it is that is spinning. Are you able to sign into sketchup.com with that email now?
If you’re having problems getting to the end of trying to migrate, you could try a different browser, or you could do the migration on the phone (different phone number). But remember that you don’t want to migrate before April.
Make sure that your serial number begins with a U. The system will be checking for your current activate license, which for you is the 2019 one. If you use T or any other letter, I can see why it would not work.
As your support is already expired you have until April 3rd to take advantage of the offer. After that the discount would reduce from 60% to 30%.
The page you logged into, with My Products, is where the subscription product live. At the moment you don’t have one of those, and your existing license can be checked on this page:
You have the fairly easy to remember support end date of July 4th, and you would not want to migrate until then. You will still get the 60% discount next July, no need to do it now.
Hi Colin, thanks for your prompt reply. I am using a “U” serial number, however I cannot gat the two year discount, only the 1 year. Is that what’s available for me, or can I get a two year subscription at a discount? Thanks again.
Anyone with a 2016 or later license can.
It may be worth trying to do this on the phone. If you’re in North America, call this number (it’s sales).
303-546-1100, choose option 1. You should be connected to the right sales person for your region.
I did notice someone with your name that has a lecramster email. That isn’t you is it? Your license is under your mgranier email.
That is also me and I have tried both. I did some 3D Warehouse work with that email. What confuses me is that when I check My Products, etc, under my account it only shows Sketchup Free. I will try to phone sales. Thanks.
I have been phoning sales since last week. I’m still waiting to have them contact me back. Good luck.
Yes, I know. I’ve tried before, hopefully they’ll answer before April 3rd.
One would hope
I just tried to subscribe with the discount automatically applied without success. Is there a trick to this? My M&S expires tomorrow.
Read this post and after regarding when it is the latest you can subscribe still using the 2 year subscription with the 60% discount. According to it you have until April 3, 2021, so plenty of time to figure out the problem without having to panic - like I did!
j.rivas is right about it not being urgent, but if you want continual support then doing it now would make sense.
I don’t see a reason for the discount to not show up. If it continues to not appear you could do it over the phone:
303-546-1100, option 1.
