Does anyone know what this cryptic message means? I keep getting it when I use one plugin, but performance seems to be fine. I looked in extensions menu, but can’t figure out what it means…
What is the name of the plug-in?
Hi, it’s an obscure plugin called Vali Architects, for building walls & roofs and such. But I also use FlexTools, which is likely where most of the component library resides. Any thoughts on what the message means, or if I should address it?

I would go into the extension manager, in the manage tab, and disable one of them. Work on the project that produced the message. See if it comes back, if not, do the same for the other one. Another thing to look at, go into model info>statistics to see how many component instances are in the model.
BTW: I am just as confused at this point as you are.

Well, I appreciate you trying to help me, but I don’t think it’s worth any more effort for either of us. I was hoping there was some native setting that would solve it, but I can’t be bothered to turn off all my extensions; I have a bunch. Until it starts lagging, I’ll just ignore it. But thanks for reaching out; this forum is a lot quicker than waiting for tech support!
You don’t have to disable all your extensions, just the ones you suspect are causing that message. Just don’t disable those extensions at the same time otherwise you won’t be able to find the problematic one.

OK, you’re right, those are relatively few; but so far it’s easier to just hit ‘N’ when the window pops up. Nothing else is generating the error, and the plugin causing the message is generating lots of its own geometry. I’ll leave it alone until it starts stumbling and stuttering…
Is it possible that it is just a badly worded error message and is referring to using profiles in your model. Profiles, found in styles tended to slow down modeling when turned on, apparently with the newer graphic engine they don’t slow things down anymore.

Luckily this laptop is a beast, because these mission roof shingles are already in the thousands!
You could go to View/Edge Styles/Profiles and untick it if it is ticked and see if the warnings stop.
