I double-clicked a component until I got to its basic faces & edges, so that I could use the dimension tool by simply clicking on the edges (image 1). When I exited out of the component, the dimensions moved (image 2). What is happening here?
Is the component scaled? (Rightclick, check to see if ‘scale definition’ is optional)
In general, it’s not advised to include the dimensions inside the component itself.
When I right-click, “scale definition” is not optional
Why not upload the model itself instead of a pic?
Someone might investigate what’s going on.
