It seems normal for dimensions to disappear briefly when pointing straight at the camera. Yours is staying invisible for too long though. Could you add a small example model to your reply, so I can see if it’s something in the model and not something in your SketchUp that is wrong?
I guess I’d look at the Expert dimension settings and see if you have dimensions set to hide when foreshortened. When I have that enabled I get the same behavior you show.
