Difficulty Selecting Lines on a 5K Monitor

I recently switched to mac and upgraded to a 5K monitor, and I’ve been having difficulty selecting lines in SketchUp. The high resolution makes it harder to accurately select these items, and I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue and has any advice.

On autocad I can adjust how far from the element i can click to select it (in pixels).
Is there any option like ths in SU?

Also I work with a second monitor that is HD only. sometimes i move one instance of sketchup to it I was wondering if that affects this.

Wondering if this could be related or similar problem:
Some extensions I use (round corner as an example) have some difficulties knowing what size they should display the menus. If I save a document on the smaller screen. they will eventually show small on the big one next time i open sketchup.

Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

Some times it’s complicated to select lines specially if they’re too small, regardless of the OS and the quality of the monitor, there’s a trick I use, with the eraser tool hold left click on the lines you want to select, then without releasing the left click press the space bar, you can also change to wireframe style to avoid selecting faces, you can select lines just by holding click and dragging the mouse.
