Default setting option to hide the “grip origin”

In LayOut, could there please be a way for the “grip origin” point to NOT always show up by default? Or maybe the option to choose whether it is visible by default or not. Maybe some folks use it all the time, but for for me, I rarely use it. Especially now that snapping just got a bit more helpful in LO version 2024 (even if sometimes unruly), I rarely use that “grip origin” tool and find there are too many snap options.

The latest program update with smarter snapping points is really helpful (even if sometimes unruly), however that darn “grip origin” point always gets in my way, or I’ll have a corner snap point “selected” but then LayOut jumps to the “grip origin” point instead last minute. I understand that some people may like it, but I draft a ton of construction details, and 90% of the time it is such a hassle and in the way, especially with lots of small objects.

I recently discovered that (on Mac) you can click the Command/Apple key to temporarily hide the “grip origin” point. Thanks for this! But would like to be able to be able to set it off by default, and toggle it on only when I want it.
