My first post, my first time sketchup, so let’s go.
I just made a rectangle
I want that to ebcome a hole,
I succeeded somehow with a circle yesterday, but I can’t repeat those steps either.
I searched a lot, but couldn’t find it. Pushing ti away does nothing, etc etc.
any tips?

A screenshot doesn’t reveal possible options.
Does the front board have thickness?
Is all geometry (front board and blue rectangle) in the same level (basic or in same group)?
If the geometry is in the same level you should be able to delete the blue face.
And if the board have thickness You should be able to push the blue face towards and on the inner board face to get the opening. Provided that outer and inner board faces are parallel.
