Customise Toolbar

Hello, where can I find Customise Toolbar please, in SketchUp 2024? It used to be under View.

Thanks,

Monika

Still is.

View>Toolbars.

I am a PC user, there is no Customise when I press View-Toolbars.

You can choose the desired toolbars to see and drag them to where you want them. While the panel is open you can drag native tools between toolbars or remove them from the native toolbars. You can click on New and create custom toolbars with the native tools you want to see. Still exactly the same as in SketchUp 2023 and going back to SketchUp 2018.

I have three custom toolbars in SU 2024 using essentially the arrangement I’ve used for more than 5 years.

Ok, thanks Dave.

Hi Dave,

I don’t seem to be able to drag tools to or from toolbars, whether the bar is custom or native.

Do you have the View>Toolbars panel open? Are you trying to customize native toolbars or toolbars from extensions. This will only work with native toolbars.

The correct response was, “Have you tried turning it off and on again?”

Restart and I’m good.

Just updated from 24 to 2025 and having a few issues.
How do I save my prefered screen layout for future models that I open?
I see no manage feature under VIEW, TOOLBARS.

Your profile says you are using Windows 7. Is that correct?

There isn’t supposed to be a “manage feature” under View, Toolbars.

If you are actually using Windows 10 or 11, make sure you installed SketchUp correctly. That requires right clicking on the installer and selecting Run as administrator. When you have SketchUp open set up the toolbars as you want them. When you save and close SketchUp the toolbar positions and visibility states will be saved.

Thanks.

You’re welcome.
