Create Large Document Size in Layout?

Hello,

I need to print a full size template that’s around 60’x5’.

How can I export a full size document at this size?

I don’t want to have to use/pay for a “real” CAD program.

The largest paper size you can select in SketchUp is 200 inches by 200 inches so that’s 16’8" in each direction. If you need some larger than that and have to use LayOut you would need to set up what you want on multiple pages.

What format do you need?

You will probably have to get a CAD-type application, or create the document scaled down and then size it to final size in some other app. It is difficult as the size is larger than what is supported by the PDF file format, for instance, so to print out your template you will have to go for something like what the shipbuilding industry uses to cut out large parts.

Thank you for your reply. I used a Vectorworks trial to export a 4-page PDF after scaling up the output from Layout. Each page was 36"x360" and vectorworks split up the pages automatically in the standard workspace.
