Hi gang, I am attaching a picture of a house I need to create in sketchup so we can change a few things on the front of the house. I have never done anything like this before and thought I would ask here, so someone could point me in the right direction how best to go about it?

One possibility would be to use the photomatch function, but the image is not good for that. With this function you have to place 4 perspective lines (2 each converging to one point). For this, the house would have to be photographed more from the direction of one of the corners. In addition, a measurement of a (preferably long) known and in the picture well recognizable cant is also useful, so that it can become a scale model.
